Profhilo in London
Profhilo in London, given by Dr Anand Raman, a GP and aesthetic doctor, at his clinic on Balham Hill, near Clapham South tube.
Profhilo remodels the skin. It stimulates four different types of collagen and elastin through the slow release of hyaluronic acid. The body makes hyaluronic acid naturally, but it makes less as we age.
This stimulation gives a tightening and lifting effect. Profhilo is clinically proven to improve facial volume, skin hydration and elasticity. A course of 2 or 3 sessions, 4 weeks apart, gives the best results. Dr Raman finds that 3 sessions work best.

Profhilo: your questions answered
What is Profhilo?
Profhilo is an injectable treatment with one of the highest concentrations of hyaluronic acid on the market. It hydrates the skin deeply and stimulates collagen and elastin. Unlike fillers, it spreads evenly through the skin and does not change your facial expressions.
Is Profhilo the same as fillers? →Profhilo vs fillers: what is the difference?
Fillers add volume and change shape in specific areas, such as the lips or cheeks. Profhilo spreads evenly through the skin to hydrate it and stimulate collagen and elastin. It improves skin quality without changing your features or your facial expressions.
Is Profhilo the same as fillers? →How will Profhilo make me look better?
Profhilo improves skin tone, texture, hydration and elasticity, and gives a tightening and lifting effect. It is used for ageing skin, acne and acne scarring, and loss of fat under the skin.
Is Profhilo safe?
Yes, when a qualified healthcare professional gives it. It uses pure hyaluronic acid, which is naturally found in the body. Side effects are mild and temporary, such as redness, swelling or bruising where the needle went in.
How often should I repeat Profhilo?
Start with two or three treatments, about four weeks apart. Dr Raman finds that three give the best results. Then repeat every six months to keep the results.
What is the difference between Profhilo and Botox?
Profhilo hydrates the skin and improves its quality. Botox relaxes muscles to smooth wrinkles caused by movement. The two treatments work well together.
Profhilo vs Botox →How much does Profhilo cost in London?
Profhilo costs £350 per session, £600 for a course of 2 sessions, or £750 for a course of 3 sessions.
