PRP Therapy (Platelet Rich Plasma) in London
PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is a completely natural way to rejuvenate your skin. We use your own blood to harness your body's natural renewal process.
We take a small blood sample and spin it for about 5 minutes to separate the platelets. We then inject the platelet-rich plasma back into the skin. This increases collagen and elastin for fuller, tighter, smoother skin. PRP also treats hair loss and thinning in men and women.

PRP: your questions answered
How does PRP work?
We take a small sample of your blood and spin it in a centrifuge for about 5 minutes. This separates plasma, platelets and red blood cells. Platelets help wounds heal and improve skin volume and elasticity. We reintroduce the platelet-rich part into the skin to increase collagen and elastin.
How effective is PRP? →Which areas can PRP treat?
PRP volumises, tightens and rejuvenates skin all over the face. Under-eye PRP treats hollows and shadows, and it is safer than filler in this area. PRP also increases the thickness of existing hair and stimulates growth in men and women.
What happens at a PRP appointment?
Dr Raman takes a blood sample from your arm, like a blood test at your GP. The blood spins for about 5 minutes while you have a tea or coffee. He then injects the platelet-rich plasma into the area. For hair treatment, please arrive 30 minutes early so we can apply anaesthetic cream to the scalp.
How will I look straight after PRP?
Your face will not be covered in blood — that idea comes from reality TV. There is minimal redness and maybe slight swelling. Most people go straight back to work.
When does PRP start to work?
It usually takes a few weeks. We recommend 3 treatments for the face and 3–5 for hair loss, then a top-up at about 9 months.
Is PRP safe?
PRP is a safe procedure because it uses your own blood — it is 100% natural. The main risks are mild swelling and bruising, which settle quickly.
How safe is PRP? →How much does PRP cost in London?
PRP costs £495 per session, or £1,200 for 3 sessions.
