Nefertiti neck lift: your questions answered
What is a Nefertiti neck lift?
A Nefertiti neck lift is a non-surgical treatment with Botox. Small injections go along the jawline and into the vertical bands of the neck. They relax the platysma muscle, which pulls the lower face down, to give a smoother neck and a more defined jawline.
Does the Nefertiti lift work on neck bands and the jawline?
Yes, these are the two areas it treats. Vertical neck bands, also called platysmal bands, become more visible with age as the platysma muscle tightens. Relaxing this muscle softens the bands and lets the jawline look sharper.
Areas of the body that respond to Botox →How long does a Nefertiti neck lift last?
Like other Botox treatments, the effect is temporary and wears off gradually over a few months. Dr Raman will tell you what to expect for you at your free consultation, and when to plan a repeat treatment.
Nefertiti lift vs a surgical neck lift: what is the difference?
No. A surgical neck lift removes and tightens skin, needs an anaesthetic and has weeks of recovery. A Nefertiti lift uses injections, takes minutes and has little or no downtime. It suits mild to moderate neck bands and jawline changes. It does not remove loose skin.
How much does a Nefertiti neck lift cost in London?
A Nefertiti neck lift (jaw and neck lifting, with Botox to the platysma) costs £350. It starts with a free, no-obligation consultation with Dr Raman, who checks that the treatment suits you.

Like all Botox treatments, it is not suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or for people with some nerve and muscle conditions. As a practising NHS GP, Dr Raman checks your medical history before any treatment.
